Biography
Dr. Darris R. Means is a professor of educational leadership at Clemson University. Darris uses critical, participatory, and visual methodologies and methods to examine spatial, racial, and class inequities in education. His most recent scholarship has focused on educational access and opportunity for rural students and educational and career pathways in STEM and medicine for Black students and rural students. Darris's research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the Spencer Foundation. He has published 42 articles, book chapters, and reports and two coedited books.
